Partner Profile - Meet Caitlin!
Hello everyone! It's nice to meet you.
(Or it's nice to meet you again! Some people who are reading this right now already know me.)
My name is Caitlin Wildhagen, and I'm your new FIRST® Tech Challenge Program Delivery Partner. As of this summer, I have officially stepped into the position, making the 2025-2026 season - FIRST® AGETM presented by Qualcomm - my rookie year! A few fun facts about me:
- I participated in FIRST® Robotics Competition when I was in high school. I managed our team's media and co-led the team my senior year. (FRC Team #1284 from Guntersville.)
- My husband and I were on the same FRC team! I was also Miss Robotics at my school's Homecoming three years in a row.
- I've lived in Alabama my whole life and moved to Huntsville about 10 years ago.
- My favorite video game is Stardew Valley, and my favorite movies/tv series is Star Wars. I also really love to read.
- I have been a Mentor, a Judge, an Inspection Manager, and a Coach. I also went to FIRST® Championship in 2024.
- I have a Scottish Terrier named Captain who loves barking at robots.
- I volunteered for all programs (and divisions!) of FIRST in Alabama in 2025!
I feel so strongly about our FIRST® in Alabama program. Even after such a short time working with our volunteers and staff, I've felt inspired and driven to help build the excellence that Alabama is known for.
With all that being said, I'm so very excited to meet all of our new community members and greet all the familiar returning faces this upcoming season.
